1. Definitions

'Elite Rydes', 'we', 'us' and 'our' refer to Elite Rydes Pvt Ltd, a licensed private hire operator. 'Customer' or 'Passenger' refers to the person making the booking or travelling.'Booking' means a confirmed reservation for transport services.

2. Who We Are

We are a licensed private hire operator under Reigate & Banstead Borough Council (RBBC). All vehicles and drivers operate under our license and comply with applicable UK law.

3. Contract By booking

You enter into a contract with Elite Rydes Ltd for the provision of pre-booked private hire transport. Where necessary, and in compliance with licensing law, we may substitute a vehicle or chauffeur or lawfully sub-contract your journey.

4. Bookings

Bookings may be made by phone or approved digital channels. You must check all booking details for accuracy (date, time, pick-up point, destination, flight details, luggage, passenger numbers). Variations requested after booking may be charged accordingly.

5. Prices & Payment

Payment terms: Payments can be made at the time of booking or Cash or Card payment to the Driver.

Prices are in GBP and may be subject to additional charges including car park fees, airport charges and congestion/clean-air zone fees where applicable.

6. Parking & Waiting

Standard grace period: 10 minutes at non-airport pick-ups.

Airport pick-ups:Include 45 minutes of parking and waiting from the actual time the flight has landed (it’s included in the fare).

Beyond these periods, additional parking and waiting time will be charged at our then-current rates.

7. Meeting Your Driver

Arrive on time at the agreed pick-up location. If you are delayed, contact us immediately so we can adjust where possible; charges may apply for additional waiting/parking.

8. Lost Property

Items found in our vehicles will be stored safely at our office for collection. If a chauffeur is required to return to your address to deliver an item, an additional booking charge will apply.

9. Passenger Conduct & Safety

Seat belts must be worn where fitted. We operate a strict no-smoking and no-vaping policy. We may refuse carriage to any Customer appearing to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs or whose behavior poses a risk to the chauffeur, other passengers or the public.

10. Route Selection

Our chauffeurs will travel by the best possible route in their judgement, unless you instruct otherwise. Where a specific route or stops increases time or distance, additional charges may apply.

11. Delays & Events Beyond Our Control

While punctuality is key for us, we will not be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including traffic delays, accidents, adverse weather, road works or closures.

12. Vehicle Care & Damage

Any damage caused to the vehicle on hire by the Customer, internally or externally, will be billed to the Customer for repairs and valeting.

13. Privacy & Contact

We do not share your email contact details with third parties. By contacting us, you agree to us contacting you regarding your booking by email or other means. We process personal data in accordance with UK data protection law.

14.Surcharges on Special Dates

General quotations do not include public holidays (e.g., Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve) or other special dates; a surcharge may apply. Please inform us if your proposed booking falls on a bank holiday or special date.

15. Governing Law & Statutory Rights

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Your statutory rights are not affected.
